The Ivy Foundation of Suffolk/Nassau Counties Inc. (IFSNC), is a 501(c)(3) organization,
established on April 6, 2000.
Since its incorporation, the IFSNC has been committed to service programming and awarding academic and cultural arts scholarships to benefit the residents of Suffolk and Nassau Counties in Long Island, New
York.
IFSNC is the charitable arm of Theta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.®
PROGRAMS OF SERVICE
The Ivy Foundation of Suffolk/Nassau Counties Inc. (IFSNC) is partnering with the Theta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® on the Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Pack (AKA CHIPP™). According to the USDA, one in every five children is unsure where they will get their next meal. AKA CHIPP provides weekend and holiday meals for children within local communities. Through strategic partnerships and donations, you can help IFSNC ensure the continuation of the CHIPP program, which is currently serving 50 children per week.
The “GREATEST LOVE” COTILLION 2024
Soaring Hearts: A Symphony of Grace and Elegance
Since 1980, the “Greatest Love” Cotillion has been a biennial signature event of the IFSNC in partnership with Theta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
All of the participating youth complete a rigorous program of community service projects, mentoring, cultural enrichment activities and an exciting Fashion Show. They will also engage in activities and workshops that will develop leadership and communication skills. Most importantly, they will be competing for scholarship and merit awards based on academic excellence, community service and fundraising efforts. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
