Welcome to the Ivy Foundation Suffolk/Nassau Counties Inc. website.

History

Incorporated in April 2000 as a 501(c)(3) organization, the mission of the Ivy Foundation Suffolk/Nassau Counties Inc. (IFSNC), is to serve women and girls, youth, and marginalized families by providing and supporting programs and initiatives in the areas of health education, financial literacy and wellness and educational opportunities.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.®, Theta Iota Omega Chapter in partnership with the Ivy Foundation, delivers impactful programs based on the current international program targets: Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, Uplift Our Local Community.

IFSNC’s partnership with Theta Iota Omega reflects a membership of over 200 outstanding and dynamic women who are leaders in their professions and in the community. This partnership offers the opportunity to “give back” through a highly structured paradigm of servitude to the community.

Through the years we have awarded over $650,000 in academic and cultural arts scholarships to students in Suffolk/Nassau Counties.
